Ahhh, yes...you see, Chapter 2 is...how shall I put this...still not being worked on right now . The good news is that I have both Thursday and Friday off for a grading inservice. If you don't realize by now, revising one of my chapters is a complicated process. I have to think of a few new twists to the current plotline for it, try to avoid plotholes (those were pretty much everywhere before...), keep the current terms used so as to not have to go back to my reference key and mark them as either used (nothing) or unused (dash beside the term), and pretty much keep things interesting overall. I'm somewhat good at describing fights, but I'm also excellent at describing scenery if needed. Think about how long it would take me to revise and do chapters if they were in traditional format...[shudders]

One thing that people might notice is that James Cerosa's mood often changes in the blink of an eye (or it will start to become obvious soon if it wasn't already). I think's impossible to tell through just reading Chapter 1, but there's a few factors to the whole thing. For starters, he's emotionally and mentally unstable. You try living for 500 years, through wars, plagues, and other things, and keep your sanity to a maintainable level. Secondly, there's another HUGE factor contributing to it that I won't spoil for you. Let's just say that it's probably one of the biggest plot points in all four stories (In the Beginning, Eternity of Souls, Mind of Daemon, and In the Darkness). Though both Maximus and James have it, only the younger of the two suffers from the effects (that would be James if you didn't pay attention). His instability is basically a result of the things he's seen and what he's done. He's much darker than he appears...

And yes, he has my first name. You know, I was trying to think of another first name for him, but nothing seemed to fit his personality well enough. In a sense, you can call him a reflection of myself (I took a Marie Sue Test for him, and he was an "Uber Marie" O_o). As it goes on, however, his entire focus will change a bit, and he'll probably lose that title. As revealed in Future Spoiler 2, he has a son. You'll be finding out about him in Chapters 2 and 3 (which are basically the HARDEST of my current chapters I have to revise [sighs]). But since they're the hardest, expect some delays in getting them out. If you want, you can view them at FicWad, but...I'd rather you not. I'm ashamed somewhat of what they are now, so they're getting a "nuking" (my term for changing it so much that it's almost unrecognizeable from the previous version, or is similar but is waaaaaaaaaaay better).
